NSW: Motorcyclist suffers head injuries in Clovelly
SYDNEY, April 3 AAP - A motorcyclist was rushed to hospital with head injuries and a broken
limb after crashing into a bus in Clovelly, in Sydney's eastern suburbs, today.
An ambulance spokeswoman said the man, in his 20s, was taken to nearby Prince of Wales
hospital and was in a satisfactory condition.
In Mudgee, a 23-year-old man suffered serious head injuries when he crashed during a
motor-cross event.
The Westpac Life Saver rescue helicopter airlifted the man to St George Hospital in Sydney
where he is in a serious, but stable condition.
Another rescue helicopter was called in today at Arcadia, north of Sydney, where a
bushwalker was winched to safety after being trapped in bushland.
Another motorcyclist was hit by a car in Sydney's CBD this morning and was taken to
hospital with serious leg injuries.
The state's Easter road toll, which rose to 12 yesterday, has not changed today.
